Worthwhile Paper Co.
Kristen Drozdowski (she/they) creates each Worthwhile Paper design by hand. Her hope is for each product to encourage connection and reflect uplifting energy. In addition to running a business and a studio painting practice, Kristen also devotes a lot of love and attention to their family, contemplative practices and herbalism.
What inspired Worthwhile Paper Co.?
I think the first moment of inspiration was when we were setting a poster up to screen print (we used to make poster designs for shows) and there was some extra space on the screen. To utilize the extra space, I added a few little positivity designs to use as little note cards to my friends. I ended up loving them so much! I was getting really into hand lettering at the time, and started making more. We ended up including these at our first local craft fair, and I loved seeing people smile at them, hearing about who people were going to give them to and experiencing the overall excitement. I love to think that Worthwhile was inspired by this natural, spontaneous, authentic, excitement of just wanting to make something to help others connect in tactile ways.
