Oona Goods

Aleks Strub (she/her) grew up in a first-generation Lithuanian household where old yogurt containers were used as Tupperware and paper towels didn't exist. Since then, she has worked for a variety of organizations making an impact on climate change, most recently as the CMO of Imperfect Foods. She lives in Berkeley, CA with her partner and two daughters.

What inspired Oona Goods?
Every day, over 3,000 tons of paper towel waste is produced in the U.S. We are cutting down tress to clean our messes! I was inspired to put an end to this.
