hey you, hope you're having a good day!

Kristen Albrecht (she/her) is a fun-loving, people-connecting dog momma and the human behind the scenes at Nube. She is fascinated by sustainable apparel and regenerative agriculture and is always searching to connect with people and brands that share those same passions. When she's not working on Nube, Kristen is also studying to complete her MBA in Sustainable Solutions. She currently lives on Whidbey Island where she raises pigs, makes butter and is working on building a home.

What inspired Nube?

Nube was founded on the idea that creating clothing can start conversations around mindful consumption. We make clothes that people are proud to wear because they know their choice to support Nube means that they are supporting better business practices for people and the planet. Each product we create is unique, and our goal is to make apparel that people can be proud and excited to wear and talk about!

How would you describe Nube to a friend?
Nube is a small, sustainable apparel company. We create clothing made of recycled materials in partnership with artists to design unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. We are woman-owned and manufacture our products in fair wage studios in Los Angeles.
What are your individual core values?

Truthfulness. I believe you should be true to yourself and others. Whatever that means to you. I’ve found that I'm the best version of myself when I'm able to do that.

How do your friends describe you?

Motivated. For better or for worse, I’m always on the go, whether it's planning a trip, working through grad school, or running my business!

How do you want to be remembered?

As a brand that made people feel empowered to be true to themselves.

What's the best way to get in touch for questions and support?
